STUDENTS
Guys Read book club applications are available in the library this week! They are due today, so if you're interested, don't delay! There are spots for guys at each grade level, so get your applications in this week!
Schools for Schools is selling candy canes at lunch. These Candy Canes will be sold for a dollar during both lunches and you can write your own message to a sweetheart or friend. Next week we will be handing them out more information on this to follow.
Please make sure to pay all your lunch fines by next week.
Come and support your cheerleaders at the EHS Cheer Compettion on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. here at the EHS gym. Wear your Gang Green shirt and get in for $1.
TEACHER ASSISTANT
If you are interested in being a Teacher's Assistant next semester, you need to pick up an application in Mr. Wherley's office. You must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Mr. Wherley will assign you to the area of most need. Once Freshmen grades are established, you will be qualified to TA as well. If you are currently a TA, you will remain with that teacher even if your schedule changes. If you do not maintain a 2.5 GPA, you will be sent to study hall.
Teachers: Just a reminder to fill out a Teacher's Assistant request. Don't sign a student's form until asked by Mr. Wherley.
PSAE EXEMPTIONS
Congratulations to the following students who have exceeded the state requirements on the PSAE Reading portion of the test and have earned an exemption on one semester exam other than Science or Math. Please see Mr. Wherley by the end of school on Friday to tell him which final they want exempt from. Students are:Zach Baynard, John Boland, Jeremiah Bowald, Chelsea Clawson, Jacob Corry, Alicia Gardner, Katherine Haerr, Christina Halpin, Andrew Hoerr, Trent Johnson, Erin Kennell, Meghan Knapp, Ryne Macbride, Sally Jo Noack, Claire Raver,Travis Sauder, Cody Schumacher, & Rebecca Wilson.

MUSICAL
The musical callback list is located outside of Mrs. O'Donnell's room (112) and the auditorium. If your name is on the list, please come to the auditorium on Tuesday, 12/16 at 3:30 for a callback audition. You will be given additional material to read/sing at that time. If there is a conflict please let Mrs. O know ASAP. Thanks!
CHORUS
All chorus students should be dismissed at 12:55 to get on the bus to go to the middle school. Concert Choir and Prep Choir GIRLS ONLY please stop in the music building to grab your folders. Please make sure you are dressed appropriately! We will be back during 7th hour. Thanks!
COLOR GUARD
We will be loading the buses at 12:45 for the performance at EMS today, so come to the band room immediately after 4th hour. Thank you!

HISTORY CLUB/STUDENTS OF HISTORY
We will be taking our first trip to Chicago to visit the Freedom Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry on December 30 during our Winter Break! Sign up outside Ms. Bertschi's room is required to participate along with a phone number in case the weather turns bad and the trip has to be canceled! All are Welcome! We will be leaving at 7 in the morning and returning around 6 in the evening.

FFA FOOD DRIVE
Today is the last day for the food drive. Mr. Streit's class is in first with 531 cans followed by Mrs. Paluska's class with 500.
BOWLING
Congratulations to this weeks top Bowlers. Highest Game Male bowler was Cody Litwiller, Highest Game Female Bowler was Julie Wiegand. High Series for Male was Chase Welchel, High Series Female was Ashley Gerber. Miss Zeller was the High Faculty bowler and had a High Series for faculty. See Mr. Wherley for details about the tournament. Next weeks bowling is Wednesday and is Disco bowling.
