STUDENTS
If your study hall falls at the beginning or end of the Semester schedule, your parents may call you in to be late or leave early. This also applies to those students who have earned an exemption for a semester exam.

TEACHERS & STUDENTS
Schools 4 Schools volunteers will be passing out candy cane messages third hour on Tuesday. Thanks for your help and patience.

All faculty, staff, and students are cordially invited to attend the Holiday Band and Chorus Concerts tonight. The Band will begin the evening in the gym at 7pm, with the Chorus following in the auditorium at 8pm. Thank you for coming out and supporting the music program here at EHS!

TEACHER ASSISTANT
If you are interested in being a Teacher's Assistant next semester, you need to pick up an application in Mr. Wherley's office. You must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Mr. Wherley will assign you to the area of most need. Once Freshmen grades are established, you will be qualified to TA as well. If you are currently a TA, you will remain with that teacher even if your schedule changes. If you do not maintain a 2.5 GPA, you will be sent to study hall.

Teachers: Just a reminder to fill out a Teacher's Assistant request. Don't sign a student's form until asked by Mr. Wherley.

JUNIORS
All juniors that have not made your senior year schedule please come to the Counseling Office tomorrow morning at 8:00 to do so! Thank you!

SOPHOMORES

CHORUS
All Chorus members need to meet in Mrs. O's room at 7:20 and get their robes ready. If you are in band, get a "robe buddy" to get your robe for you and come as soon as you can when you're done playing. Chorale members need to be here at 7pm. Guys you need black shoes, black socks and a white undershirt. Girls you need black hose and black shoes. Break a leg!

MUSICAL
The musical callback list is located outside of Mrs. O'Donnell's room (112) and the auditorium. If your name is on the list, please come to the auditorium on Tuesday, 12/16 at 3:30 for a callback audition. You will be given additional material to read/sing at that time. If there is a conflict please let Mrs. O know ASAP. Thanks!

NHS
If you are not going to be able to sell all of your chocolate, please return it to Miss Zeller right away!

HISTORY CLUB/STUDENTS OF HISTORY
Unfortunately, Dec. 30th is a Tuesday and the Freedom Museum is not open on Tuesdays so we will have to cut that from our trip. However, the Museum of Science and Industry is open--General Admission is $13. If you want to attend their Omnivax Theater (Shows: The Grand Canyon or the Wild Ocean), your ticket price will be $20. You will also need money for lunch and possibly supper. A sign-up sheet is outside room 205, Ms. Bertschi's room. Place your name and telephone number on the sheet and get a permission sheet, which you will need to bring along on Dec. 30th. See Ms. Bertschi if you have any questions and All are welcome--including parents and students who are not in History Club!

SPEECH
Attention Speech Team members who missed the meeting this morning: Come to room 303 to pick up your newsletter and to sign up for working the Orthopedic Parking lot this Friday, to sell candy bars and raisins, and to enter into the Canton Speech Tournament on January 10.

BASEBALL
We will be having Open Gyms before school at 7:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. Additionally, stop by Mr. Miller's classroom to get a schedule of Open Gyms for X-mas break, January and February.

SOFTBALL
There will be a softball meeting tomorrow at 8:10 in Mr. Stromberger's room.

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to the Wrestling team on their efforts against Metamora, Morton. and Illini Bluffs on Saturday. They dismantled Illini Bluffs 47-33 and the following wrestlers won matches: Chris Griffieth, Derek Reinman, John Boland, Grant Cuffe, Bradley Brewer, Max Cali-Boyd, Drake Bowald, Matt Schaidle, Drake Anthony, Jacob Gillette, Alex Mann, Brock Merritt, and Connor Ryan.

Congratulations to the EHS Speech & Drama Team for earning the 2nd place Team Sweepstakes Trophy at the Monmouth-Roseville Individual Events Tournament on Saturday. Helping the team earn the big points over area high schools were Brett Roth—1st place Humorous Interp, Emily Rhoades—1st place Extemp Speaking and 4th place Radio, Bethany Shuford—2nd place Dramatic Interpretation, Suzanne Holland—2nd place Impromptu, Alicia Gardner—2nd place Poetry Reading, Gretchen Schlossler—3rd place Oratorical Declamation, Melissa Raney—3rd place Original Oratory and 6th place Prose Reading. Thirteen high schools participated including Galesburg (1st place), United, Monmouth-Roseville, Canton, Lewistown, Macomb, Stark County, Woodruff, Rockridge, West Central, Alwood, and Dunlap.

Congratulations to the following swimmers on their first place wins in a meet against Dunlap on Saturday: Derek Scott backstroke, & Andrew Shrock breaststroke. The final score was Dunlap 112 E-R-M 64.

Congratulations to the boys' varsity basketball team on their victory over U-High last Friday night by a score of 53-46. The Hornets were led by Jordan Prosser with 17 points and 18 rebounds. Cody Hirstein had 15 points. Tyler Facker led the team with 2 drawn charges. Josh Prosser dished out a team high of 4 assists.

Congratulations to the EHS Cheerleaders for placing 1st at the Cheer Exhibition on Saturday. Great job girls!!!
