Hats Off!

·             To the boys basketball team along with Assistant Coaches Beau Doty, Aaron Dohner, Matt Gordon and Head Coach Tim Meiss who won the Mason City regional and advanced to the sectional final before eventually being defeated by this years state champions.

·             To the Marching Band members, Director Todd Stalter, and Color Guard Sponsor Denise Yonker for winning their division at the state competition for the seventh consecutive year.

·             To the Eureka High School Horse Judging team and Advisor Jesse Faber for placing first in the State FFA contest.

·             To Jake Knapp and Advisor Jesse Faber for placing first in the state FFA competition for Job Interview.

·             To everyone involved in updating our website.

·             To the coaches and athletic director, Jason Greene on spending a lot of time with our athletes to prepare them for the rigors of the Corn Belt Conference. At this time, we rank fifth in the overall standings after the fall and winter seasons.

·             To Olivia Klaus for placing second at the state cross country meet.

·             To the following athletes who made the first team all–conference in the Corn Belt in their respective sports: Olivia Klaus, Matt Schaidle, Luke McLaughlin, Jordon Prosser, Caitlynn Eeten, Dean Eastman, and BJ Zobrist.

·             To Colleen Toliver and Coach Diana Sluder for placing ninth in the state Speech competition in Radio Speaking.

·             To the members and coaches of the R-B-E soccer team for making it to the sweet 16 this fall.

EHS and EMS retired Ben Zobrist’s baseball jersey this year during a ceremony in January.
