After earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield, Bob Bardwell started his teaching career in the Ball-Chatham School District 5 in 1994 as a fourth-grade teacher. While teaching at Ball Elementary School, he earned his Master’s degree in Educational leadership. In 2001 he was hired as an assistant principal at Ball Elementary, and in 2002 he was named principal of Lettie Brown Elementary in Morton, IL. After serving eight years as a principal in Morton, Mr. Bardwell was named the principal of Eureka Middle School serving in that capacity for four years. During his time as principal in Eureka, Mr. Bardwell earned his superintendent’s licensure from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
On July 12, 2014, Mr. Bardwell started as the Chief Administrative Officer/Superintendent of the Congerville-Eureka-Goodfield Schools. He is married to his wife Nikki and they have three children. When he is not serving as superintendent, Mr. Bardwell spends most of his time with his wife and children, church activities, and sporting events.
