Kindergarten Pre-Registration TOMORROW - February 1
It is once again time when families can sign up a child for kindergarten for the 2024.2025 school year! This allows us to get an idea of how many kindergarteners we can expect for the upcoming year.
To be eligible for kindergarten, your child will need to be 5 years old by September 1, 2024.
Beginning February 1, if this is your first child attending school, on our District 140 homepage, please look for a link that says Kindergarten Pre-Registration and follow all of the steps. If you are a parent with children already enrolled in our district, log into your Skyward Family Access account. Once you are logged in, click on the down arrow next to the House icon and click on “New Student Enrollment.” Choose the 24-25 Congerville or Goodfield KG Pre-Registration tile and follow all of the steps. When filling out the form, you will select a time to reserve your child’s spot for screening which will take place on May 10, 2024, at either Goodfield or Congerville, depending on where your student will enroll.
If you need to use a Chromebook to pre-register your kindergartener, you are welcome to come into the Goodfield or Congerville office on February 1, from 1:00-4:00pm.
Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate to the office or send a copy via email to audrey.krogmeier@district140.org at Congerville Elementary or jessica.ingram@district140.org at Goodfield Elementary or upload it on the form. Also, if this is your first child in our district, you will need to provide 2 proofs of residency. You may email, upload, or bring these items into the office.
